Under the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, the district level office of the field administration is District Education Office, Kishoreganj. Alor Mela, its location in the old court road area. Head of the District Education Officer's Office.In addition to implementing all the directives of the Ministry of Education, SDG-4 is always involved in providing multi-faceted services to public / private level secondary schools and madrassas at the level.The office supervises all the activities of 13 upazila secondary education office. In this district there are 462 institutions are located,including 27 junior school, 229 high school, 10 school and college, 09 BM college, 09 high school college, 18 degree college, 11 honors college, 03 masters college, 102 admission madrassa, 27 Aleem Madras,15 Fazil Madrasa,02 Kamil Madrasa.In addition, regular lessons were provided through 18 ICT Learning Centers (ILC Lab) , 78 Sheikh Russell Digital Labs and 323 multimedia class rooms in the district to educate the students in modern education.
